Mothers Day week/weekend we headed to Houston to see family and Mimi's idea was to go to dinner on Saturday for linner (lunch/dinner) between their naps because it would be less crowded than Sunday etc... We had not brought you two to a restaurant since you were younger and would just sleep in your carriers. We had been to places like chick fil a etc.. but not really sit down... and the adventure began.
Libby started crying the second the waitress arrived at our table, stranger anxiety x 10!! Problem being, every time we would calm her down, the waitress would come back... because that's how a restaurant works. Hence, she was soon on daddys lap and Mimi's lap and Aunt Pam's lap....
Luke loved the restaurant high chair but provided lots of entertainment with his reaching skills, so every plate, steak knife and water glass was shoved to the other end of the table... which in turn resulted in 2 spilled drinks... all over Mim's white pants and Pam's white pants... Libby crying on and off and everyone taking shifts eating. The people behind us watched our table in pity as we provided entertainment throughout their meal :) Great memories for sure, laughing non stop, and in the end we figured out that both Luke and Libby LOVE macaroni and cheese!
