Family Beach Trip to Destin, Florida

Thank you Mimi and Papa J for an amazing beach trip! You guys were 10 1/2 months old and spent a week at a house on the beach soaking up some rays and playing with the family. Luke you love the waves and the water! Libby, you prefer the sand, eating it and all. (seaweed too!)

It was a wonderful get away and we had a blast! Thank you Aunt Pammy for enduring the car drive with the babies and Pete and I! You were a HUGE help!

The night our photography session was canceled because of rain,

Papa J was the photographer on the deck! Just as good if not better!

The next night we did the session on the beach - so fun!

Sick Days= Excused absence from happy babies :)

Sick days are officially no fun around here.  Libby, here you are with dad with a washcloth on your head to help with the fever :( Dad was enjoying the downtime snuggles even if you were sick!

Not sleeping well, not eating well, and not playing much is no fun for you or for mom and dad

 

 

Laying low after fevers and diaper rashes = stay home days and cleaning out projects

Here you guys are checking out all your "baby" stuff that you have outgrown already

 

Sick days also equal staying in your PJ's all day- here you are Luke, helping dad with his work :)

Mini Me

 

To my Mini Me,

I love dressing you in my baby clothes! Family members say that you look just like me :) We have fun playing dress up together and you have actually wore a lot of the things that Mimi saved multiple times.

 

Some fun things that you are doing right now are:

* Waving hello and goodbye

* Clapping your hands

* Using your pointer finger to point ALL the time- at people and things- we laugh at that a lot

* Dancing to music (swaying your body anytime music or singing starts)

 

 

 

 

Who's on First?

It's been fun to watch and see how you learn and change so much each month and also the differences between what you each do at different stages! Here' a little recap of what you each did "first!"

Luke-
Rolling over, sitting up, smiling, holding your own bottle, getting teeth & crawling/pulling up :)

Libby-
Sleeping through the night (12 hours), responding to your name, saying "da da," clapping, waving :)

King (and Queen) of the Jungle

 

We love our pediatrician and unfortunately you guys have been seeing him a lot lately :( Fevers, diaper rashes, no fun. But here we have some smiles from a well check up and I love how clearly you can see the size difference between you two! Each room at the dr is a different theme but this one is the Jungle Room- and it's a favorite for sure. Ms. Jenn was there to help with shots etc... as she is a huge blessing and help to our family in countless ways.
