Yum Yum!

You guys weren't sure what to think about starting solids. But now you are rockin' the veggies with no problem! You started with rice cereal but quickly moved to oatmeal and now we are trying a new veggie every week! Luke- you don't like avocados that much yet, and Libby isn't too fond of peas :) Sippy cups are a new adventure and sitting in our high chairs is a fun new activity!

Aunt Jane gave you this bib- pretty funny Superman!

Smiles and Sickness?

1 Sick baby = a matter of hours and then... 2 Sick babies :(
You two got sick with a bad head cold and fevers and this picture captures how sweet Luke felt. Cold wash cloth on your head, means it was pretty bad... And taking your picture didn't make it any better from the look on your face!

Headed to see the Dr! We know all the nurses and staff there pretty well :)

I have a fever but I am happy anyways?!

Playing together in the bassinet - how is it that months ago you were swaddled in here?

The camera again!?  All better!

Flashback

Flashback! Mommy Laura on the left and Little Libby on the right :)
Watching you sleep is so fun for a reason I don't really describe well?? But you always look so peaceful and sweet.

Home Sweet Home

Visiting Katy is always a blast! Nana and Papa were there for your baby baptism and we spent the week visiting Angelina at school for lunch, visiting Mimi's work and spending time hanging out! We went to see Aunt Jane at her office too and you guys love being "slushed" over as your Grand Nana calls it. (basically kisses and hugs and snuggles) The best thing about being at home is so much help and extra hands. In the morning at home, there is something called the "bottle fairy."
You guys usually wake up between 7 and 7:30am and when I open the door to go down and make bottles in the kitchen... they are already there! Your Mimi is up getting ready for work and when she hears you guys, she makes the bottles and puts them by the door to the bedroom where we all sleep. She also often puts breakfast for mom! Muffins, fruit etc..!!  Mornings are fun becaue Angelina gets ready for school super fast and comes in to help feed you and play with you before she has to go!

A Little Surgery... no biggie says Luke

Sweet Lukey!! You were born with a little extra skin by your left ear, which thet call an ear tag.  So once you were about 5 months, the doctor took it off so it wouldn't keep growing when your ear grows :) Here's a few pictures of you! The hardest part was not letting you eat before the surgery :) Mimi and Papa J came to help watch Libby.  You certainly ate a lot as soon as you got out! The nurses said you were a little "heartbreaker" and such a good baby!

Your baby baptism - The most important day yet!

On January 27th 2013 you sweet bundles were baptised at our home church, Grace Fellowship, were Mimi works and where we (mom and dad) were married :) Pastor Leggett baptised each of you and it was such a special moment- nothing mroe important to your dad and I than committing you to the Lord who so faithfully brought you to us!  Many family and friends were there to celebrate and support us! And your Grand Nana and Grand Papa were there all the way from Whidbey Island.  Your Grand Nana made the baptism dress that Libby wore. She worked on it for days, and months, and I opened it at my baby shower before you were born!  It fit your perfectly and is such a priceless, labor of love.  After the baptism, we had a little celebration back at Mimi and Papa J's house. So thankful for you both.  May we never forget the blessing that you both are. We committ to raising you to love and serve God in hopes that one day you will each personally accept Christ as your Lord and Savior and walk in relationship with Him.

Bibs were necessary- especially for Libbys drooling :)

Looking more like daddy everyday!

Godparents were up there with you us to commit to supporting you as you grow up!
